A meaningful safari begins with respect. We are visitors in places that belong to wildlife and to the communities around them.
Keep a considerate distance from animals and avoid changing their behaviour for a photograph. Follow your guide’s instructions, keep to permitted routes and leave nesting sites undisturbed.
Carry your waste out, use refillable water bottles where practical and take only memories and photographs. Even a small habitat can shelter an extraordinary range of life.
Ask before photographing people. Listen to local perspectives and approach community visits as an exchange, with curiosity and courtesy.
If your school, organisation or community would like to explore a collaboration with AviWild, we would love to hear from you.
